“So the question is, ‘How do we examine our soul? How do we get closer to God? How do we get closer to the truth?’ And one way is through drama.”
David Mamet (Glengarry Glenross, Hannibal, Hoffa, The Untouchables, Wag the Dog)
Professional, curated editors, quality work, competitive rates,
prompt delivery: from anywhere, to anywhere.
Remote editing is here to stay!
The workflows imposed by the pandemic have changed attitudes about remote editing.
It has proved that post-production can be done anywhere.
For TVPC Media, it simply accelerated a process that had been in development for over a year. With systems now in place and running on various projects, TVPC can offer a range of packages with unique benefits:
a wider choice of Editor-talent, anywhere in the world
Collaboration is no longer limited by location
Sharing of projects across timezones for 24/7 workflow
"Premier Interschools is one of the leading youth sports TV series in South Africa. TVPC Media has been producing the magazine show for the last eight years. In 2020, filming took place in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Krugersdorp, Durban, Pietermaritzburg and Pretoria. All post production was done in Munich, Germany. Twenty-five episodes, comprising a total of 320 minutes of content, were delivered from Germany to South Africa - the system worked very well, and content arrived without problems."
Robbie Blair, Operations Manager - Premier Interschools
How does it work?
Real or virtual, the process remains the same:
Who are your editors?
We carefully curate accredited, experienced editors regardless of location.
Current editors are in Germany, South Africa and Canada.
What languages do you work with?
Our editors are English and German speaking.
More languages will be added soon (French, Italian, Spanish).
How do you ensure a quality service?
Each project is managed by a Post-Production Director (PPD), who is the key connection point for all collaborators.
S/he ensures clear communication, compliance with creative and technical specifications and delivery on schedule.
All completed content must pass quality-control approval by the PPD.
